Portrait of the Artist in a
bunch of photos and simple sentences
Caution: Not dial-up friendly. (Or brain-cel friendly.)

This is me. The source of all the carnage,
all the insanity...well, all of this art, as it shall be
called. I'm a young person living out in the college town
in the middle of nowhere-- Columbia, Missouri; despite having
a California pedigree manifests itself in my awful Vallery
Girl speech patterns. Right now I'm not really doing much
besides learning to pretend how to draw, writing dramalific
stories, studying birds, and spending way too much time
online. When asked what I want to be when I grow up my eyes
get big, I drool a little, and then I gives a dispondent
shrug. Just like so many other people her age.

I really like birds. That's why
a lot of my art is birds. Or bird-like monsters. My peach
faced lovebird Gypsy here does not look like a monster at
first, but do not be fooled.
|
These characters are my heart and soul. F'real. My major
goal in life isn't art; it's getting their story out.
Why is one a big gryphon and the other a tiny robot? If
you know, please tell me. :(

I like robots. No, really, I, a female who
also enjoys nature and birds and animals of all sorts, love
robots and movies and stories with artificially intelligent
machines. So many story possibilities! And most people shoot
for the cliche. ;) What's to blame? Well, perhaps a little
too much Mystery Science
Theatre 3000 when I was a kid probably didn't help. Tom
Servo from the show seemed to appreciate it, though. Here
he is telling me to do evil things.

I also like Internet memes.
Maybe too much.

Electric Light Orchestra is the
most underrated, misunderstood bands of the 70's, and Jeff Lynne
is a forgotten genius of a singer/songwriter/producer. He is also
a Traveling Wilbury, which is the epitome of cool. Unfortunately
I have no cool personal photo for this interest of mine. Give me
money for prescription aviators (I don't see that good) and this
may change.
That's all about me that's worth
telling to the Intrawebs.
Now, I draw.
